Assisting The Cops Resolve A Crime In The Neighborhood

By Mikeal A Grene

One of our next-door neighbors got burglarized last month. Her precious jewelry was hauled along with her life savings. She does not want to place the money inside a bank. She just hides them inside her home. The burglar probably have even gotten wind of this as to aim for her.

Since surveillance camera systems are used generally to keep an eye on a particular area or catch a perpetrator in the act, the police handling the case asked around in order to discover if we got hidden spy cameras with audio attached in our own residences. They wanted to know if there was any likelihood our personal surveillance cameras might have recorded the burglars in action.

All I have was a mirror hidden video camera I laid inside my bedroom. I didn't put any video cameras outside the house. I have one in natural wood finish frame, even though it is also available for purchase in a black frame.

I acquired this nanny cam with an optional built-in DVR so that I would not need to install anything. The DVR video camera was ready to record right after I took it out of its carton.

I want ease in moving the camera, therefore I chose a cordless type. I would not have to agonize over working with cords as well as cables, either. It being wireless, and hence effortless to transfer around, is most likely the very reason this ended up facing the street the evening my neighbor got burglarized. I must have twirled that unexpectedly from that time.

It must be luck that as soon as I checked the footage my covert camera had recorded on that night, the video showed the three crooks who had victimized my neighbor. It had been dark; yet the.003 lux feature of my black and white cam made it possible to videotape good images in lowlight.

If the police had not talked to us about having hidden spy cameras, this robbery occurrence would still be a long way from being solved.
